Criteria for stall applicants:
All applicants for stall sites at ATAMIRA - Māori in the City 2011 must meet the following criteria:
- Applications must be complete with all details provided.
- Only one application per address, business or organisation is allowed.
- Full payment must be received by close of business Friday 9th September 2011
- Stalls at the event must reflect an authentic Māori essence. We encourage an 80% New Zealand content.
- Product and food must be of high quality and standard (the organising committee has the right to refuse otherwise)
- Neat and tidy dress is required at all times by exhibitors
- Your organisation is to operate within the exhibition space that you are allocated.
- An evaluation survey form must be completed at the end of the event.
- All stall holders must abide by these terms of application to ensure each organisation operates on comparable terms
Other information:
- Please note that we expect to receive more applications for stalls than we have sites available, therefore please get your application in before the closing date.
- Stall sites will be allocated by the event organisers only.
- A brief confirmation receipt will be emailed or posted to you within 5 days of your registration
- A formal stallholder’s agreement will be sent to all accepted stallholders along with their invoice within 14 days of your registration.
- This is a Smokefree Event. There will be no smoking permitted within the ASB Showgrounds exhibitions halls or the Logan Campbell Centre. Designated smoking areas will be allocated.
- Any person found partaking in alcohol or drugs whilst on the premises will be asked to forfeit their participation in the event and leave the Showgrounds.
- Exhibition Hire Services will fit-out the hall and stall sites. Extra furniture can be ordered through Exhibition Hire Services at your own expense. An Exhibition Hire Services booklet will be included in the stallholder pack which you will receive upon final confirmation, you can contact them direct.
- Pack in and out times will be advised with your final stallholders package.
- Food stall holders must comply with the Auckland Council bylaws for Health, Safety and Hygiene Regulations. If you cannot provide an ENV number or a copy of a Mobile Food Vendor License/Food Stall Health Certificate (this does not include Basic Food & Hygiene Course Certificates) you must obtain a permit from Auckland City Council.
A hui will be held before the refund deadline date of Friday 9th September 2011, in conjunction with our Trade Expo sponsor Aotearoa Credit Union, to achieve the following:
- Answer any questions stallholders may have that can affect their/our decision to finalise their stall purchase
- Receive any positive contributions of feedback or suggestions to make your experience as a stallholder more profitable and enjoyable
- Determine if your stall may be eligible for support from the Aotearoa Credit Union – the conditions for which will be outlined at the hui
